Lizbth & Tim’s wedding day was an amazing example of how great making your wedding day personal can be. The wedding was held at Lizbeth’s family farm, in the middle of acres of corn planted specially for her. The backdrop was the rolling hills of the Hudson Valley: A perfect setting if there ever was one. Being in the middle of surroundings you love and with people you love are the two key ingredients to a wedding that feels like this. It was a truly special day and one we are so honored to have shared with them.

Divine Light Photography, New York Wedding Photographer shooting for Southern Weddings Magazine at Bridal Market 2014
We were honored when asked by Southern Weddings Magazine to capture all the amazing moments and shows at the one and only Bridal Market NYC (AKA Bridal Fashion Week). Briana, along side Lisa and Emily criss-crossed Manhattan, going from show to show and having their minds blown by all the amazing designs by all the top designers in our industry. Day one and two included designers like Ivy & Astor, Sareh Nouri, Carol Hannah, Badgley Mischka and Claire Pettibone to name a few. We were in heaven! The image below features two amazing new designs by Claire Pettibone, one of our all time favorite designers.

Fall weddings don’t get any better than this as a Hudson Valley Wedding Photographer. We were honored to photograph Karyn & Michael’s wedding at The Hill this past Saturday in the always picturesque Hudson Valley.
Such a romantic moment shared with Lizbeth & Tim in such a beautiful place. Being a Hudson Valley Wedding Photographer, or at least living in NYC and being able to make the short drive to one of the most beautiful places in our country is truly a pleasure every time. Beautiful, natural landscapes with amazing people in love: Couldn’t ask for anything better. Heres a couple snaps.
Absolutely loved Monette & Preston’s custom Brooch Bouquet and Boutonniere. Just lovely! More to come soon.
We had an amazing time with Sharmi & Michael at their wedding Saturday at the Liberty Warehouse here in Brooklyn. So many more lovely images to go through and share soon:)

If you’re in the mood for some good wedding inspiration then a look at Kirsty & Brian’s Ringling Ca’ D’Zan Mansion wedding which was just featured today on Style Me Pretty’s Florida blog should do the trick. It was such an amazing day and everything came together so perfectly. We are truly honored to have such amazing clients and work with such talented, creative vendors.
Ca’ D’Zan Mansion Wedding
Two people more in love to photograph I could not ask for. Like most couples, Ahna and James laughed and stated “they had never taken photos before” and “had no idea what to do “and like most couples, they already knew everything they needed to know when it comes to taking great photos with us. Which is, of course, to LOVE each other and don’t be shy about it. Great outfits are nice. Stellar locations to shoot a plus. But the best ingredient to bring to every photo session with us or any photographer is a smile and the one you love on your arm. The rest will take care of itself.
Ever want to explore an old, creaky, abandoned mansion that time forgot? Wander through fallen trees and around its aged and collapsing sculpture garden. Broken fountains and empty pools where the owner, an early 20th Century mining tycoon and his family would recline and relax. How about having a wedding at one?
We were beyond excited to photograph Kristen & Nick’s Alder Manor Wedding on the banks of the Hudson River just outside of Yonkers, New York. The home hasn’t had living occupants for almost 65 years and to say that the mansion and grounds have character is an understatement. We love Kristen and Nick with their raw, candid emotion for each other, which perfectly mirrors the gorgeous location they chose to say their vows.
